As Verato continues the transition toward the unified MDM Cloud experience, both interfaces—the current platform and the new MDM Cloud — will coexist for a period of time. Features and updates may be delivered to each interface independently, depending on where they provide the most value for customers during this transition.

Patient Journey & Provider

New Features and Improvements

  • Verato gives users control over task creation by allowing them to disable task creation at the source group level.
  • Verato enables targeted record retrieval with the new sourceRecordsQuery endpoint, letting users fetch only the specific records or clusters they need for faster and more efficient workflows.
  • Verato introduces quick Link ID lookup via the linkIdLookupBySourceRecords endpoint, so users can instantly find all Link IDs associated with a list of Source + Native IDs.
  • Verato surfaces manual link and do-not-merge visibility in APIs and the UI, giving users greater transparency for audit and stewardship decisions.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where large “snowball” documents were being created in some environments, which caused timeouts during demographic searches. This update improves system performance and reduces the risk of slowdowns as documents size increases.

Identity

New Features and Improvements

  • Person-to-Person relationships:
Verato empowers users to manually create, edit, and manage Person-to-Person relationships—so users can capture real-world connections like caregiver–dependent, household members, or guarantor–patient, and maintain a complete 360° view of individuals.

New Features and Improvements

Cohort Analyzer

  • Tabbed Dashboards for a Streamlined Experience:
The Person SDOH Analyzer, Consumer Analyzer, and Provider Network Analyzer dashboards have been upgraded to new tabbed versions, making it easier to navigate and compare insights across different views.

  • Improved Date Filtering on Demographics Consents:
The Person Core/Patient Demographics Consents “Valid To” and “Valid From” dimensions now extract dates, enabling you to filter by date ranges for more precise cohort analysis.

  • Expanded Provider Data Exploration:
We’ve enabled the Cohort Health Facility and Cohort Practitioner explores in Cohort Provider. Note: The Cohort Provider explore will be deprecated in favor of the new Cohort Practitioner explore, giving you a more focused and future-ready experience.

Snowflake Share

  • Updated Views for Practitioner & Health Facility:
Notification, Task, Demographics, and Crosswalk views have been updated to use the new Practitioner and Health Facility naming conventions. These new views will fully replace the existing Clinician and Organization views, which are scheduled for deprecation in May 2026. This ensures your data pipelines and integrations stay up-to-date with industry standards.
