As Verato continues the transition toward the unified MDM Cloud experience, both interfaces—the current platform and the new MDM Cloud — will coexist for a period of time. Features and updates may be delivered to each interface independently, depending on where they provide the most value for customers during this transition.

New Features and Improvements

  • Improved the usability of the task user interface by adding delineators between link IDs - this should help stewards determine where a link ID starts and ends more easily.

  • Updated task assignee logic such that inactive and read-only users such as those that have the “Business Analyst” role cannot be assigned to tasks.

  • Altered source group behavior such that source groups are created on the account level, but are environment-specific.

    Example: If an administrator creates the source group “Patient Sources” in a dev environment and configures it with sources “cerner” and “epic”, that source group will exist in the test environment, but it will not contain the sources “cerner” and “epic” automatically unless explicitly configured in the test environment as well.

  • Updated the task user interface to clearly distinguish reference data from customer data.

    • Reference data is now visually highlighted for easier identification.

    • Reference data is excluded from the record count in the top left of the task wizard.

    • Reference data cannot be selected for linking or merging.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug with stewardship user interface filters in where if only start date or end date was selected as a filter, the filter couldn’t be applied.
  • Fixed an issue where Verato internal users not in customer experience were appearing as task assignee options in customer environments.
  • Fixed an issue where filters created from the “Unassigned Tasks” tab in the Stewardship UI was preventing filters from applying correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where manual tasks created specifically in MDM Cloud were not being automatically closed out according to Verato’s automatic task cleanup logic.
